I thought the book was very enjoyable. I have to say I was very surprised after thoroughly examining the contents. I don't think he would be my first choice in representing the approach. I do recommend reading this book. I was particularly interested in walking the wall around Dubrovnik, and the book was very help. As with so much of his writing, here Shepard once again proves himself a poet who just happens to write in the genres of fantasy and sci-fi. The anguish Rose feels just walking up the drive to the plantation almost overwhelms her. When not writing she enjoys spending time with her family and her two horses, and loves camping, hiking, photography, and lazy days at the lake. There Is No One Else is a story of love, betrayal, deceit, prejudice and tragedy.
